Participation of SGPTV in the international « Seatrade Cruise Europe » and “CLIA Port & Destination Summit which took place from September 06th to September 08th 2017 in Hamburg, Germany.
These 2 events organized during the same period are now very important for the cruise market: During this period, Hamburg becomes a place of meetings and exchanges for all actors of the sector: Tour operators, constructions naval, interior equipment, port authorities, animation, …
With regard to « Seatrade Europe 2017 », more than 260 exhibitors from 40 nationalities were present to discuss and take stock of the Cruise industry which, compared to other sectors, is in great shape.
The participation in the Summit of Ports and Destinations organized by the CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) to which the SGPTV is a member has allowed a fruitful exchange with all decision makers of the cruise companies in the future development activities of the Port of Tangier City and of the Pearl of the Straits. The main topics discussed were the cruise companies’ strategy in choosing destinations: International geopolitical situation, Safety, Reputation of destinations, Services offered by Ports / Destinations and Customer experience.
As part of the promotion of Tangier City Port , SGPTV presented to the various decision-makers all the specific opportunities offered by the Port and the Pearl of the Straits for a demanding and growing public.
